He is one of the very few specialized Endocrinologists of Bangladesh who covers all areas of Hormone Disorders.
He obtained MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1981, DEM (Diploma in Endocri-nology & Metabolism) in 1992 from BIRDEM Academy under Dhaka University, Md (Endocrinology & Metabolism) in 1996 from BIRDEM Academy under Dhaka University.
He has served in multiple government medical colleges and hospitals of the country. Before joining here he was working as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology in Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital, Dhaka.
He was recruited by The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he spent 5 years at world-renowned King Fahad Specialist Hospital as a Consultant Diabetologist and Endocrinologist.
While in Saudi Arabia, he was also working as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology of Qassim University College of Medicine.
Apart from the management of Diabetes and Thyroid Disorders, he is an expert in management of other hormonal problems such as Growth Disorders (short and tall height), Hirsutism (Unwanted facial and body hair in women), Gynaecomastia (enlarged breasts in male), Obesity and Male & Female Infertility. He has also a lot of experience in reproductive health in managing male and female sexual problems.
