Evercare Hospital Chattogram organized a free pediatric cardiology medical camp in Cox’s Bazar to support children with congenital and other heart conditions. The camp was held at Chevron Clinical Laboratory on Hospital Road, Cox’s Bazar, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The camp was led by Dr. Tahera Nazrin, Founder, Senior Consultant & Coordinator, Pediatric Cardiology, Evercare Hospitals Bangladesh (Dhaka & Chattogram). During the day-long camp, children with suspected or diagnosed heart conditions received free medical consultations, while 2D and Color Doppler Echocardiography services were offered at an affordable cost.
A key feature of the initiative was access to advanced echocardiography using modern equipment, supporting timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment planning for children with heart conditions. Patients and their families also received assistance with doctor appointments, pre-admission support and referrals for advanced treatment when required.
The Pediatric Cardiology Department of Evercare Hospital Dhaka provides specialised care for children with congenital heart disease, including appropriate medical advice and access to device closure, balloon procedures and other interventional treatment options when clinically indicated.
Dr. Tahera Nazrin highlighted the importance of improving access to congenital heart disease care for children in Bangladesh and reaffirmed Evercare’s commitment to providing quality cardiac care, particularly for children from underserved communities.
Through initiatives such as this medical camp, Evercare Hospital Chattogram continues to promote early diagnosis, timely treatment and greater awareness of childhood heart disease in Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar.
