Requirements
Responsibilities & Context
- To be responsible for the Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Kitchen and laundry services within a designated specialty in a manner that ensures compliance with international standards of care and JCI standards for Quality and Patient Safety. This position is to ensure smooth operational activities in these areas.
 - Oversee the Hospitality manpower functions of the Hospital
 - Lead all issues including Cleaning, Food quality Standard, Patient Care and all related facilities
 - Hold regular briefings and meetings with Top Management of the Hospital.
 - Ensure full compliance to Hospital Facility Controls, SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards.
 - Handling complaints and oversee the service recovery procedures.
 - Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the Hospitality Departmental Annual Operation Budget, Cost and action plan.
 - Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the Hospital and management. Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings.
 - Closely monitor all relevant reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.
 - Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Foods & Beverage, Admin & General, on target and accurate.
 - Helping in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment and contracting with third party vendors for essential equipment and services.
 
- Coordination, Oversee and manage all Hospitality issues with other departments and working closely with department heads daily.
 - Manage and develop the team to ensure career progression for them.
 - Be accountable for responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of all complaints.
 - Provide effective leadership to Team Members. Lead in all aspects of departmental planning.
 - Respond to audits to ensure continual improvements is achieved.
 - Corporate Client Handling and take part in new process acquisition along with the team whenever required.
 - Responsible for safeguarding the quality of operations both (internal external audits).
 - Responsible for legalization, Occupational Health & Safety Act fire regulations and other legal requirements.
