Breast Cancer: A Warning for Women

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, and if detected at an early stage, it can be curable.
Causes:
- Genetic factors: The risk increases if someone in the family has breast cancer.
- Hormonal changes: Certain hormonal imbalances can raise the chances of developing breast cancer.
- Unhealthy lifestyle: Irregular eating habits and lack of exercise may increase cancer risk.
- Alcohol and smoking: These contribute to a higher risk of cancer.
- Radiation: Prior exposure to radiation can be harmful.
Precautions and Prevention:
- Regular self-examination: You should examine your own breasts once a month.
- Regular medical checkup: An annual mammography is recommended. However, women under 40 should not undergo mammography.
- Healthy diet: Include plenty of vegetables, fruits, and antioxidant-rich foods in your meals.
- Exercise: Engage in physical activity for at least 30 minutes every day.
- Avoid smoking and alcohol: This helps reduce the risk of breast cancer.
If breast cancer is detected at an early stage, the success rate of treatment is much higher. Therefore, women should remain aware and undergo regular health checkups.
