Obtained her MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College.
Joined Government Service,20th BCS, Health Cadre as Medical Officer.
Obtained her MD(Psychiatry)Degree from Bangladesh Medical University.
She is working as Associate Professor Social Psychiatry Head of Department, National Institute of Mental Health, Dhaka.
She is a member of Forensic Psychiatry Board,NIMH.
She is specialized in evaluating and treating Mood Disorders, Anxiety disorders,Personality Disorders,Substance Use Disorder including Game and Pathological Gambling Disorder Internet Addiction ,Schizophrenia and Spectrum Disorder, Eating Disorders,OCD,Sexual and Sleep Disorder other Various Psychological Problems.
She attend both inpatients and out patients,National Institute of Mental Health.
She has many publications and participate many research works.
She works as guide and supervisor of many thesis and dissertations.
