Dr. Saiful Islam Khan

Dr. Saiful Islam Khan did his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1996. After completing his MBBS he began his professional journey with honorary training in Anaesthesia at BSMMU, which laid the foundation of his specialization. He started his career in 2001 as a Medical officer in Anaesthesia at National Medical College Hospital, Dhaka.
Following the completion of his DA (Diploma in Anaesthesia) from Dhaka University in 2004, he joined the National Heart Foundation, Mirpur, as a senior Medical officer in cardiac Anaesthesia.
In 2006, he moved to Apollo Hospital Dhaka as a Registrar in Cardiac Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, where he served for over a decade and was later promoted to Senior Specialist. His career later took him to Impulse Hospital, where he worked as a Consultant in Cardiac Anaesthesia from August 2019 to March 2020.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he contributed significantly as a Consultant in the Intensive Care Unit at BRB Hospital Dhaka from July 2020 to August 2021. From August 2021 to April 2025, Dr. Khan had served as an Associate Consultant in Cardiac Anaesthesia at Evercare Hospital, Dhaka.
Dr. Khan has enhanced his clinical acumen through multiple international trainings in Cardiac Anaesthesia, including Heart Center Leipzig, Germany in 2023; Gleneagles Global Hospital, Chennai, India in 2019; Cardiff University Hospital, Wales, UK in 2018.
