Dr. Sohail Ahmed

Dr. Sohail Ahmed completed MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka. He joined Dhaka Medical College for surgical training in multiple disciplines of surgery. He received his MCPS (Surgery) from Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS) and MS (Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery) from National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases.
With specialized training from Narayana Hrudyalaya, Jaipur, India and the National University Hospital, Singapore, Dr. Sohail Ahmed is the doctor of choice for Complex Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, Complex Valve Repair, Aneurysm Surgery, Aortic Surgery, Paediatric Cardiac Surgery, Complex Vascular Surgery & Lung Surgery.
Dr. Sohail Ahmed was Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Disease at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease, Dhaka. He was also Consultant and Assistant Professor at the National Heart Foundation Hospital and Research Institute.
He worked at renowned hospitals in India including Apollo Hospital Chennai, where he got the opportunity to work with the renowned surgeon, Dr. M. R. Girinath. Dr. Sohail Ahmed also worked at Narayana Hrudyalaya Hospitals and Fortis Hospital, Gurgaon.
Dr. Sohail Ahmed is trained in LVAD, BIVD, Heart, Lung Transplant from Gleneagles Global Hospital, Chennai.
