Professor Dr. Mohammad Ezharul Haque completed his MBBS degree and subsequently earned MS (General Surgery) from BIRDEM Academy under the University of Dhaka.
He received advanced training in Laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries abroad.
He is a renowned Laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeon. He has acquired expertise and regularly performs surgeries for gallbladder, appendix, hernia, colon, spermatic cord, adrenals and many other complex conditions.
He served as the Head of the Department of Surgery and Unit Chief of Colorectal Surgery. He regularly performed surgeries for carcinoma, haemorrhoids (piles), fissures, sinuses and fistulas.
He has long-term experience and expertise in breast and other general surgical procedures.
He is a teacher and examiner at Ibrahim Medical College, including the Dental Unit, and at BIRDEM Academy. He is also an examiner at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU).
He served as the Chief of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre (MISC) at BIRDEM and trained many surgeons in laparoscopic surgery.
He has published more than 20 research papers in national and international journals.
He is a life member of the General, Endolaparoscopic, Colorectal, and Hernia Surgical Society of Bangladesh.
