Successful Treatment of a Child’s Congenital Heart Defect by Dr. Tahera Nazrin

Little girl Sumaiya had been suffering from frequent colds, fevers, coughs, and pneumonia since birth. Her parents consulted a local doctor, who examined her and said there was a problem with her heart. Later, they brought her to Evercare Hospital Dhaka. At the Clinical and Interventional Paediatric Cardiology Department, Dr. Tahera Nazrin, Founder, Senior Consultant, and Coordinator, performed an echocardiogram, which revealed that Sumaiya had a congenital hole in her heart. Under Dr. Tahera Nazrin’s supervision, treatment began, and the congenital heart defect was successfully closed without surgery, using a free device procedure. Now, Sumaiya is completely healthy.
