Successful Treatment of a Child's Congenital Heart Defect by Dr. Tahera Nazrin

Little Alif, a young boy from Chattogram, had been suffering from persistent cold, fever, and cough since birth. Concerned by his condition, his parents consulted a local physician, who suspected a heart-related issue after an initial examination. Seeking expert care, the family traveled to Evercare Hospital Dhaka. They consulted Dr. Tahera Nazrin, the Founder, Senior Consultant, and Coordinator of the Clinical and Interventional Paediatric Cardiology Department. Upon performing an Echocardiogram (Echo), it was confirmed that Alif had a congenital heart defect (a hole in the heart). Under the supervision of Dr. Tahera Nazrin, Alif’s treatment began. The hole in his heart was completely closed using a device closure technique, which allowed for a full recovery without the need for open-heart surgery. Alif is now completely healthy.
