Successful Treatment of a Child’s Congenital Heart Defect by Dr. Tahera Nazrin

Abdullah, a young boy from Rangamati, had been suffering from frequent colds, fevers, and coughs since birth, along with chest retractions. His parents took him to several local hospitals, but his condition did not improve. Later, they brought him to Evercare Hospital Dhaka. At the Clinical and Interventional Paediatric Cardiology Department, Dr. Tahera Nazrin, Founder, Senior Consultant, and Coordinator, performed an echocardiogram, which revealed a congenital hole in Abdullah’s heart. Under Dr. Tahera Nazrin’s supervision, treatment was initiated, and the congenital heart defect was successfully closed without surgery, using a free device procedure.
