Successful Treatment of a Child’s Congenital Heart Defect Without Surgery

Three-year-old little boy Md. Sajid had been suffering from frequent cold, fever, and cough since birth. Despite repeated visit to local doctors, his condition did not improve. Eventually, his parents brought him to Evercare Hospital Dhaka. At the Clinical and Interventional Pediatric Cardiology Department, Dr. Tahera Nazrin, Founder, Senior Consultant, and Coordinator, performed an echocardiogram, which revealed a congenital hole in the child’s heart. Under Dr. Tahera Nazrin’s supervision, treatment was initiated and the congenital heart defect was successfully closed with the help of a device without performing surgery.
