He completed his MBBS from Rajshahi University followed by FCPS in Surgery from BCPS (Bangladesh College of Physician & Surgeon) and got advanced training in Laparoscopic and Colorectal Surgery from the Chulalongkorn University Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. He also received a fellowship in safety of laser on the human body from the American Society of Laser Surgery in 2017.
