Dr. Mohammad Ershadul Haq

•Dr. Mohammad Ershadul Haq serves as a Senior Consultant in Histopathology at the Department of Lab Medicine, bringing extensive expertise in diagnostic pathology. A graduate of Chittagong Medical College where he earned his MBBS in 1982, Dr. Haq further specialized by completing his M.Phil in Pathology from the Institute of Post Graduate Medicine & Research (IPGMR), Dhaka in 1987, establishing strong academic foundations for his distinguished career.  

•With over four decades of professional experience, Dr. Haq has held the position of Specialist in Histopathology at King Faisal Hospital in Taif, Saudi Arabia since June 1997, where he continues to provide expert diagnostic services. Prior to this international appointment, he contributed significantly to medical education in Bangladesh as Assistant Professor at both Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka (1993-1997) and Rangpur Medical College (1989-1993). His early career included a lectureship at Chittagong Medical College (1988-1989) and service as a Medical Officer across various health complexes in Bangladesh (1982-1988), demonstrating his commitment to both clinical practice and public health.  

•Dr. Haq has developed exceptional competencies in diagnostic histopathology, particularly in tissue analysis for various cancers including colorectal and breast malignancies, lymph node disorders, and cutaneous diseases. His expertise extends to clinical correlation of histopathological findings and endoscopic biopsies, along with specialized research in immunofluorescence techniques and diabetic nephropathy.  

•An accomplished researcher, Dr. Haq has authored more than nine publications in both local and international journals. His notable research includes groundbreaking studies on cutaneous immunofluorescence patterns, histomorphological analysis of breast lesions and ENT disorders, and investigations into microalbuminuria's role in diabetic nephropathy. Complementing his clinical work, Dr. Haq has made substantial contributions to academic pathology through mentoring medical students and trainees, sharing his vast knowledge of pathological sciences with the next generation of medical professionals.
