Dr. Sadia Sultana

• Dr. Sadia Sultana is a highly skilled nephrologist with extensive expertise in the comprehensive management of kidney diseases. She completed her MBBS Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital and subsequently obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Nephrology from the prestigious Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). To further refine her specialization, she completed an advanced Fellowship in Dialysis and Renal Replacement Therapy from the World Kidney Academia.

• Her clinical proficiencies encompass the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD), Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), and Glomerulonephritis, including SLE-related kidney conditions. She specializes in kidney dialysis (both Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis), the management of dialysis-related complications, and post-transplant follow-up care. Dr. Sultana also focuses on the advanced management of diabetic kidney disease and hypertension. She is highly proficient in performing critical Interventional Nephrology procedures, including renal biopsies and the insertion of temporary (Femoral, Jugular) and permanent dialysis catheters.

• Prior to joining Evercare Hospital Chattogram, Dr. Sultana cultivated a rich background in clinical and academic medicine. Her career includes significant experience managing critically ill nephrology patients in intensive care settings. She has also contributed to academic medicine by dedicating several years to teaching and training medical graduates and post-graduates.

• Dr. Sultana is actively engaged in the academic advancement of nephrology. She has authored and published several articles on CKD, AKI, and Dialysis in recognized peer-reviewed journals.
