Evercare Accident & Emergency Centre provides multidisciplinary emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with state-of-the-art facilities and an expert trauma team. The Centre provides ventilator- and life-support-equipped ambulances, stroke management, life support, cardiac support, trauma life-support protocols, emergency and triage beds, and immediate access to diagnostic, medical, and surgical specialties.

The Accident & Emergency Centre has a dedicated Chest Pain Observation Unit (CPOU) for the emergency management of patients with chest pain who are at low risk of a heart attack. The unit aims to improve the efficiency of care for low-risk patients while avoiding unnecessary admissions. Nine emergency codes are followed throughout the hospital, each denoting a different emergency situation to ensure efficient management.

  • General and advanced pediatric and neonatal resuscitation facilities.
  • Standard emergency pick-up service with fully equipped ambulances operated by trained paramedics.
  • The Accident & Emergency Centre manages all types of emergencies under one roof, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Centre has ten dedicated emergency beds, as well as one triage bed. In case of an emergency, one call is all it takes to avail of our round-the-clock ambulance pick-up service. Our fleet of ambulances is well-equipped and staffed by trained emergency technicians and paramedics. We have two Toyota ICU ambulances equipped with life-support equipment, including ventilators. Moreover, being located near the international and domestic airports, we can provide rapid transportation for emergency patients between the airport and the hospital when required.

IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT TESTS/PROCEDURES/SURGERIES, YOUR REPORTS & BILLING ENQUIRIES

  • Tests/Investigations:
    • To schedule a test/investigation, please call the relevant OPD front desks.
    • Your lab investigation samples are to be deposited in the Sample Collection Room located in Level-3, which is open on working days (Saturday-Thursday) from 8.00 am to 8:00 pm, and on Fridays and holidays from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
    • Your investigation reports can be collected from Report Delivery Room by showing the receipt of payment. The hospital shall not be responsible for reports not collected within 30 days after the tests were done. Report Delivery Room is also located in level-1, and is open on working days (Saturday-Thursday) from 8.00 am to 8:30 pm, and on Fridays and holidays from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
    • You will not be able to collect your investigation reports without your receipt of payment. If you have lost your receipt, you may collect a duplicate copy from our Billing Executives (Front Desk, OPD- Level-2,3).
    • You can request duplicate copy of your investigation reports from the Report Delivery Room, inclusive of BDT 100 additional charge.

  • In-patient Reports
    • Discharge Summary is provided to a patient upon his/her discharge from the hospital. A discharge summary is a summary of the events during hospitalization of the patient. It outlines the patient’s chief complaint, the diagnostic findings, the therapy administered and the patient’s response to it, and recommendations on discharge.
