Prof. Dr. Azmeri Sultana

Professor Dr. Azmeri Sultana completed her MBBS from Chittagong Medical College, followed by DCH, MCPS, and FCPS in Paediatrics. She also earned her FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons (Glasgow).
She has over 15 years of clinical experience as a practicing paediatrician and paediatric Nephrologist at Dr. M R Khan Shishu Hospital, ICH and other hospitals.
She is a specialist in paediatrics and pediatric nephrology.
Dr. Azmeri Sultana was awarded an IPNA scholarship to pursue advanced training in paediatric nephrology at the esteemed National University Hospital in Singapore. She also completed specialized training in critical care nephrology at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center, USA.
She has authored more than 80 articles in both national and international journals and has contributed chapters to three separate books.
Dr. Azmeri has been invited as a faculty speaker to many conferences, both locally and internationally.
She received an award from PCRRT ICONIC for her outstanding contributions to the field of paediatric acute kidney injury (AKI).
Dr. Azmeri has engaged in collaborative research with international colleagues from the United States and SAARC member nations.
She is a life member of the Bangladesh Pediatric Association (BPA) and the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). Moreover, she served as the past scientific secretary of the Pediatric Nephrology Society of Bangladesh (PNSB).
Prof. Dr. Azmeri Sultana is highly proficient in the comprehensive management of paediatric medical conditions.
