Dr. Md. Zaved Mehedi Hossain

• Dr. Md. Zaved Mehedi Hossain is an experienced physician in Internal Medicine with 11 years of professional experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases. He obtained his MBBS from BGC Trust Medical College and subsequently completed FCPS in Medicine from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS).

• His clinical experience includes Internal Medicine, with postgraduate training in Nephrology and Hematology, along with significant exposure to Critical Care Medicine. His professional interests include Public Health, Hematology, Nephrology and Critical Care Medicine.

• Dr. Zaved is trained in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). He has also received training in Mechanical Ventilation and Basic Bronchoscopy for Intensive Care, strengthening his expertise in the management of critically ill patients.

• His clinical skills include interpretation of X-ray, ECG, ABG, CT scan, MRI and laboratory results; lumbar puncture; pleural and peritoneal fluid aspiration; NG tube insertion and urinary catheterization; endotracheal intubation; central venous line and hemodialysis catheter insertion; arterial puncture; and management of both non-invasive and invasive ventilation.

• Dr. Zaved has joined Evercare Hospital Chattogram as an Attending Consultant in Internal Medicine, bringing his extensive experience in Internal Medicine, ICU care and the management of complex medical conditions to the hospital.

• Prior to joining Evercare Hospital Chattogram, he served as an Associate Consultant and Specialist in Internal Medicine at Apollo Imperial Hospitals Ltd., Chattogram, and as a Consultant in Medicine & ICU at Chittagong Diabetic General Hospital. His responsibilities included OPD and IPD patient care, regular Medicine and ICU rounds, emergency patient management and participation in CME activities.
