• Dr. Showkat Azad completed his MBBS and MD in Nephrology. He is a Fellow of American Society of Nephrology and International Society of Nephrology. He has completed one-year fellowship in Critical Care Nephrology (World Kidney Academy, America).

• He has special expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases. He is experienced in the management of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), Diabetes and Hypertension-related Kidney Disease and Kidney Failure.

• He treats various complex kidney diseases, including dialysis and integrated kidney therapy, electrolyte imbalance, glomerular disease, nephrotic syndrome, kidney infections and kidney stones.

• He also has special experience in Kidney Transplant Nephrology and management of complex kidney diseases. He provides integrated and specialized medical care for long term and complex kidney patients.

• He has 12 years of experience in nephrology & kidney disease management.

• He has received special training in Interventional Nephrology (Dialysis Catheter, Renal Biopsy) - Australia.
