Prof. Dr. M Emarat Hussain

Prof. Dr. Emarat Hussain is a highly experienced radiologist with more than 25 years of clinical and academic expertise in diagnostic radiology, including over 15 years of specialized practice in neuroradiology.
Before returning to Bangladesh, he served for 10 years as a Consultant Neuroradiologist at King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh (2014–2024). During this time, he led advanced neuroimaging services and worked closely with multidisciplinary teams in the diagnosis and management of complex neurological conditions. His professional appointments also include roles at King Saud Medical City, Riyadh; Prince Abdur Rahman Al Sudairy Central Hospital; Apollo Hospitals, Dhaka; and as Professor of Radiology at East West Medical College Hospital.
Prof. Dr. Hussain obtained his PhD in Radiology from Japan, where he also completed a Fellowship in Medical Imaging and subsequent advanced training in CT and MRI in the United States. He possesses extensive expertise in MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and advanced neuroimaging technologies.
He has been actively involved in postgraduate medical education, training numerous radiology residents and fellows, with a strong focus on applying advanced imaging techniques to support accurate diagnosis and effective clinical decision-making. He remains committed to continuous professional development and medical education.
Currently, Prof. Dr. Emarat Hussain serves as a Senior Consultant at Evercare Hospital, Chattogram. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered radiology services by incorporating international standards of care, modern imaging technologies, and continuous departmental development to improve patient outcomes.
