Evercare Hospital Chattogram, the port city’s largest private heath-care facility, proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Nayan Bhowmik as Attending Consultant in the Department of Medical & Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Nayan Bhowmik is a highly motivated and dedicated oncologist with a strong commitment to patient-centered cancer care. He completed his MD in Oncology from Bangladesh Medical University in January 2023.

With significant expertise in managing in-patient, out-patient, and day-care chemotherapy units, Dr. Nayan Bhowmik brings extensive hands-on experience in advanced Radiotherapy techniques including IMRT, VMAT, 3D-CRT, Electron Beam Radiotherapy, SRS/SRT, SBRT/SABR, DIBH, and Brach therapy.

Prior to joining Evercare Hospital Chattogram, he served as Assistant Professor at Khawja Younus Ali Cancer Centre, (March 2023 – October 2024) and at CMOSH Cancer Centre, Agrabad (October 2024 – 2025). His clinical expertise also covers the management of oncological emergencies and treatment-related toxicities arising from Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, and Immunotherapy.

Dr. Nayan Bhowmik has contributed to multiple oncology research initiatives and is deeply committed to offering personalized care tailored to each patient’s condition and treatment goals. His approach emphasizes compassion, communication, and collaboration with both patients and their families to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

He is an active member of the Bangladesh Society of Radiation Oncology (BSRO) and the ESMO Oncology Club, reflecting his dedication to continuous learning and advancement in the field of cancer treatment.
