Evercare Hospital Chattogram proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Shraboni Chakraborty, MBBS, FCPS (Obs & Gynae), as Senior Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Pelvic Endoscopic Surgeon. With over 24 years of extensive experience in women’s health, her addition strengthens the hospital’s mission to deliver world-class, patient-centered care in Chattogram.

Dr. Chakraborty completed her MBBS from Dhaka Medical College and her FCPS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). She has received advanced training at Chittagong Medical College Hospital and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, as well as specialized training in laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopy, and IBS both locally and internationally.

She is renowned for her expertise in pelvic endoscopic surgery, including total laparoscopic hysterectomy, fibroid and endometriosis surgery, prolapse operation, and fertility-enhancing procedures. Her advanced hysteroscopic skills are instrumental in diagnosing and managing menstrual disorders through office-based and operative hysteroscopy. Dr. Chakraborty also provides comprehensive infertility care, offering IVF, IUI, laparoscopic fertility evaluation, and surgical treatments to support conception.

Beyond clinical care, Dr. Chakraborty is experienced in gynecologic oncology, with a focus on surgical management and screening for ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancers. She has also contributed significantly to public health by working with the Ministry of Health on initiatives to improve high-risk pregnancy management, safe delivery practices, and maternal health education in underserved communities.
