Prof. Dr. Md. Moklesur Rahman Joins Evercare Hospital Chattogram

Evercare Hospital Chattogram proudly announces the appointment of Prof. Dr. Md. Moklesur Rahman as Senior Consultant, General & Laparoscopic Surgery. A distinguished surgeon with more than three decades of clinical, academic, and research experience, Prof. Dr. Md. Moklesur Rahman is widely respected for his expertise in advanced surgical care.

Prof. Dr. Moklesur Rahman completed his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1990 and later pursued his MS in General Surgery, marking the beginning of a remarkable medical career. He began his professional journey at the University of Science and Technology Chittagong, where he served from 1993 to June 2015, contributing significantly to surgical education and patient care. Following this, he joined Chattogram International Medical College as the Head of the Department of Surgery, where he played a key role in shaping the department’s clinical and academic standards.

Throughout his career, Prof. Dr. Moklesur Rahman has been deeply involved in research, with several publications in reputable national and international journals. His professional interests span a wide range of surgical disciplines, including acute and chronic surgical conditions, general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, as well as malignant gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery. He is also an active member of prominent professional organizations such as the Society of Surgeon, Bangladesh and the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeon, Bangladesh.
