Shahnaz Begum’s son accidentally ingested mosquito-killing insecticide while playing and was immediately brought to Evercare Hospital Chattogram. As his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for specialised critical care. Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Pranab Kanti Mallick, Senior Consultant, Paediatrics & Neonatology, the child received intensive treatment and ventilatory support.
