Premature Baby Recovers After 40 Days of NICU Care | Patient Story

Md. Morshed from Rangunia, Chattogram, faced a critical situation when his wife developed severe complications at seven months of pregnancy. Due to high blood pressure, she lost consciousness and developed frothing from her nose and mouth. She was initially taken to a local hospital at around 3 AM, but given the severity of her condition, the family was advised to seek advanced care. They brought her to Evercare Hospital Chattogram, where an emergency Caesarean section was performed and the baby was delivered. Born at seven months, the premature baby developed several complications and was admitted to the Neonatal ICU for specialized care. Under the supervision of Dr. Dipika Dey, Senior Consultant, Paediatrics & Neonatology, the baby received intensive treatment and close monitoring.
