Prof. Dr. Anwar Israil

Prof. Dr. Anwar Israil completed his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College followed by an MD in Neurology from the University of Dhaka.
He started his service life as a Medical Officer in the Department of Medicine in BIRDEM General Hospital, Dhaka. He worked there for one and a half years.
He joined Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) in 1997.
In his long government service, he worked in various medical colleges, in hospitals and in various national institutions.
He worked as an Assistant Registrar of Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) for two years.
He worked as an Indoor Medical Officer in the Department of Internal Medicine at Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital.
After obtaining MD degree in Neurology, he worked at the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, Dhaka in various capacities for more than 13 years.
He was also involved in teaching postgraduate students and their academic activities.
Dr. Israil has a good number of national publications.
Prof. Dr. Anwar Israil is an active member of the Society of Neurologists of Bangladesh (SNB).
Before joining Evercare Hospital Dhaka, he worked as Professor of Clinical Neurology at the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, Dhaka.
