Evercare Hospital Dhaka Observes World Asthma Day

Dhaka, May 6, 2025 — Evercare Hospital Dhaka, the first JCI-accredited hospital in Bangladesh organized a scientific discussion session to mark World Asthma Day 2025, focusing on the topic “Pitfalls in the Management of Bronchial Asthma.” The event brought together leading respiratory experts to address gaps in asthma care and promote evidence-based treatment practices in Bangladesh.

The event brought together a distinguished panel of experts from Evercare Hospital Dhaka’s Respiratory Medicine Department, including Dr. SM Abdullah Al Mamun, Senior Consultant & Coordinator; and Dr. Ziaul Huq, Senior Consultant, and Prof. Dr. Rowshne Jahan, Senior Consultant, Respiratory Medicine, Evercare Hospital Dhaka, who also served as the Chairperson of the session.

 The session was further honored by the presence of Dr. Golam Sarwar Liaquat Hossain Bhuiyan, Assistant Professor (Respiratory Medicine) & Course Coordinator at NIDCH, and Secretary General, Chest & Heart Association of Bangladesh, as Special Guest; Prof. (Dr.) Quazi Tarikul Islam, Professor of Medicine, Popular Medical College, Dhaka, and Federation Lead, Bangladesh, Royal Colleges of Physicians of UK, as Chief Guest.
