Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Sarker

He is one of the very few specialized Endocrinologists of Bangladesh who covers all areas of Hormone Disorders.
He obtained MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1981, followed by DEM (Diploma in Endocrinology & Metabolism) in 1992 and Md (Endocrinology & Metabolism) in 1996 from BIRDEM Academy under Dhaka University.
He has served in multiple government medical colleges and hospitals of the country. Before joining Evercare Hospital Dhaka, while he was in Government Service, he worked in Rangpur Medical College, Dhaka Medical College and in Sir Salimullah Medical College as Department Head of the Department of Diabetology & Endocrinology.
He was recruited by The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he spent 5 years at world-renowned King Fahad Specialist Hospital as a Consultant Diabetologist and Endocrinologist.
While in Saudi Arabia, he was also working as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology of Qassim University College of Medicine.
Apart from the management of Diabetes and Thyroid Disorders, he is an expert in management of other hormonal problems such as Growth Disorders (short and tall height), Hirsutism (Unwanted facial and body hair in women), Gynaecomastia (enlarged breasts in male), Obesity and Male & Female Infertility. He has also a lot of experience in reproductive health in managing male and female sexual problems.
