Dr. Debashis Chowdhury

• Dr. Debashis Chowdhury completed his MBBS from Dhaka University in 1987 and obtained his MD in Gastroenterology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in 1998.

• He has over 25 years of experience in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine, serving in leading medical institutions across Bangladesh, including Chittagong Medical College, Rangpur Medical College, Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, and CMOSH Medical College as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. He is currently practicing as a Senior Consultant  Gastroenterologist in Evercare Hospital Chattogram.

• Dr. Debashis Chowdhury has received advanced international clinical training in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy, Hepatology, Liver Transplant Care, Critical Care Medicine, and Gastroenterology from the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (India), University of Alberta Hospital (Canada), McGill University Health Centre (Canada), and St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto (Canada).

• His Clinical Expertise Includes the Diagnosis and Management of Fatty Liver Disease, Liver Cirrhosis, Liver Failure, Viral Hepatitis (Hepatitis B & C), Gastrointestinal Bleeding, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Peptic Ulcer Disease, GERD, Pancreatic and Biliary Disorders, and Gastrointestinal Cancers. He is Highly Experienced in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and other Advanced Endoscopic Procedures.

• Dr. Debashis has Presented Scientific Research at Prestigious International Conferences, Including the ESMO World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer and APDW, and has Authored Numerous Peer-Reviewed Publications In The Fields of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

• He is an International Member of the American College of Gastroenterology and a Member of the Bangladesh Gastroenterology Society.
