Papia Begum was injured in a tragic bus accident and could not move due to a spine break. At the point of her treatment, the patient’s family, who were worried about her health, brought her to Evercare Hospital Dhaka. Our Senior Consultant Prof. (Col.) Dr. Md. Aminul Islam of the Department of Neurosurgery started her treatment here. At one stage of the treatment, Prof. (Col.) Dr. Md. Aminul Islam performed surgery on the patient’s spine. After the operation, the patient started walking full-fledged like before. The patient’s daughter Zereen Akhter is sharing details of her mother’s treatment, who is now able to walk.
