Dr. M. Ali is the country's most celebrated Knee Surgeon and is renowned as the pioneer of knee surgery in Bangladesh. He has vast experience in knee replacement and arthroscopic surgery both at home and abroad. Dr. M. Ali has been performing authoritative practice for more than a decade in Evercare Joint Care & Wellness Centre, which is the first and only super specialty centre of its kind in Bangladesh. After joining Evercare, he has successfully performed more than 20,000 different knee surgeries. He has unprecedented expertise in total Knee replacement surgery. He has performed more than 1000 total knee replacement surgeries (both unilateral and simultaneous bilateral) with the highest success rate in the country with minimum or no complications. Beside knee replacement, he is an expert on arthroscopic ligament reconstruction (ACL, PCL) and arthroscopic meniscus surgery. He has successfully performed more than 8,000 arthroscopic knee surgeries & procedures in his centre. Before joining Evercare Hospital Dhaka, Dr. M. Ali worked at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), Prestigious BSMMU and Dhaka Medical College Hospital. His highly skilled and experienced hands have successfully contributed beyond the country and performed different complex knee surgeries. After medical graduation Dr. M. Ali obtained his post-graduation in orthopaedics. Then he was awarded the highly esteemed fellowship from Singapore General Hospital on arthroscopy and replacement surgeries. After that, he received comprehensive training in advanced arthroscopic surgery which was supervised by the Royal College Surgeons of England and Australia. He is trained in computer- assisted arthroplasty (joint replacement surgery) & robotic knee surgery. He attended many international conferences as a faculty and presented many research works on knee surgeries. He has many noticeable international publications with several national publications. Personally, he is also passionate about orthopaedic rehabilitation of physically disabled children.
